Benoît Macq

Benoît Macq is a professor at the Louvain School of Engineering (École Polytechnique de Louvain). His research in the field of image processing research include image compression, image watermarking and AI for image-based decision support systems. He is a Fellow of the IEEE, a member of the Royal Academy of Sciences of Belgium, and a co-founder of over 10 digital technology spin-offs. He is currently Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Trans on Image Processing.
