Sergio Figueiras Gómez

Sergio holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Santiago de Compostela and an MBA from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris. His professional career has always been linked to R&D and innovation, leading high-impact, transformative projects for organisations such as the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL) or the Galician Health Service (SERGAS), a regional healthcare provider with 14 hospitals and more than 35,000 healthcare professionals. He joined Bahía Software in 2018 as Innovation Director, where he is responsible for the company’s R&D strategy, with a strong focus on the application of AI to healthcare challenges.
